Want a healthy white sauce recipe that has no flour, butter or cream? Simply take one head of cauliflower & chop finely (stalk & all), put in a pot with 1/4 cup of water & 2tbs oil (I used avocado oil). Put lid on pot & steam for about 5mins or until cauliflower is just tender. Transfer to a high powered blender & blend until smooth. Add salt & pepper to taste. I swear it tastes exactly like white sauce it is so creamy! You could also add garlic, caramelised onion or grated cheese for more flavour. YUM!
