To welcome you to the page, would like to play a composition by renowned Azerbaijani pianist, Vagif Mustafazade whom Willis Conover featured numerous times on his jazz program. Willis was intrigued by the way that Vagif intertwined the melodies and rhythms of the folk music of Azerbaijan into his compositions and improvisations and frequently remarked that the jazz artistry of Mustafazade was an example for musicians from all different countries of the world to emulate.
