Warning Parents...online shopping this time of year. I ordered a coat through Deliahs over 4 years ago!!! I somehow got a free subscription to 3 magazines. I barely remember buying the coat! I know I have received magazines before for the trial period...like the first 3 are free or something...so I may have done that. But I just got billed nearly 150.00 for magazines I never ordered!!! The automated system is tricky! You try to cancel and get a refund that they have no way for you to speak to a real person. They only offer a full refund if you continue your subscription for an additional 5.97 and then you must remember to call 2 months later to cancel!! If you dont want any more magazine sent at all, you do not get a full refund! (There is no way to dispute the charges except to call your bank and file a claim. They ask if you want to prosecute? Can you prosecute for stupidity?) They will automatically renew your subscription for 15 months and charge you. So I probably got charged 3 years ago (or back when David was in Kuwait) when I wasnt paying close attention to my account and didnt realize what it was. My husband assumed it was something I bought and I didnt know it was on our statement until this happened. So now I am going though my acct with a fine tooth comb and just found a charge for some online game!!! GEESH! I cant call until central time business hours and you cant log on because (THEY DONT RECOGNIZE MY EMAIL?) Really? Then how did I buy this? OMG!!! Lesson learned...NO MORE MAGAZINES...FREE SUBSCRIPTION, TRIAL OFFER...NO WAY!
