Was always told, that for a mother, all her children are equal. Unfortunately sometimes, its not true and the deprived kid forever tries to prove itself, at any cost, hoping that someday it will receive the same love and care. Perhaps its survival, so the weaker child may also thrive, but if that becomes a norm, its dangerous. Many such children grow up to be insensitive to people who love them, because they have never learnt to reciprocate and often struggle with relationships.
