Waverly Media audio tapes destroyed: Forty years after the US Supreme Court told President Nixon the written transcripts werent good enough and he had to hand over the audio recordings to the media (New Yoek Times, Washington Post, etc), HeadlineSurfer requested copies of the audio recordings of two dozen sworn witnesses in the Jon Kaney-led Waverly Media investigation. But the county informed the internet newspaper those recordings no longer existed, but we could access the written transcripts. Those recordings were entrusted to Kaney, Mr. First Amendment, who knew they would prove even more embarrassing once we published recordings of actual voices. So, I filed a sworn criminal complaint affidavit with the Office of State Attorney RJ Larizza, but Im not holding my breath. After all, Kaney and a bunch of other influential; insiders and politicians are above the law, rent they? Volusia County is the most corrupt county in Florida. Corruption here at the county & municipal levels is endemic... Especially with the special taxing districts: three advertising authorities, three indigent care hospital districts, the state-funded college and nearly two dozen CRAs...
