Way back in my Hollywood days I spent a lot of time dealing with movie studios and celebrities. In 1998, a wonderful movie titled What Dreams May Come, was to be released by Universal Studios. I received a call, was shown the movie ahead of release, and went on to produce the movie premiere. Not too much extraordinary about it, I had done many movie premieres prior to this one. I had the chance to meet Robin WIlliams, and the remaining cast of the film. What indeed made it extraordinary, was that he remembered my name the next time I saw him, and every time I saw him from that point on. He asked how I was, what was new and exciting in the world of Mia? What is amazing is I know, if he saw me today, he would remember me like it was yesterday even though we had met but a handful of times. He was genuine in every sense of the word. Although my universe today is a world away from Hollywood, there are still vestiges of that life that I hold dear. Robin, I am indeed old enough to have watched you on Happy Days, but I appreciate you always saying I was much too young. :) I know you you are indeed going to where dreams and everlasting love do come, and I am sure you have them laughing at the gate. We have indeed lost one of the good ones today...and the world is a little less bright. My heart is broken. Love and blessings to his family.
