We Kashmiris have never felt as lonely and abandoned yet deeply inspired as we do today. The stark contrast between the shut doors of the international community and the open arms and restless hands of the Kashmiri people has coupled despair with hope in a way that we are compelled to fight to on. The last week or so has taught us a great deal about what it means to be Kashmiri. It is defined by the youth sacrificing all they have to give back to a country that they have only ever seen broken. In that there is a promise of change. InshaAllah. Kashmiris have a spirit to large to be dampened or contained.
