We are all equal in opportunity and protected equally by laws...its just that liberals want equality of outcome as well. You can disagree, but its on display constantly through the words of the party of envy, pay your fair share, and hatred of the 1%. I cant help but wonder what happened to commending success and hard work?!?! We used to want to aspire to the 1%. Now we just tear them down. Oh yeah, and we celebrate mediocrity and those that dont further their education or advance themselves through a strong work ethic. Or make better decisions about having children out of wedlock (a true leading indicator of someone likely to be in poverty - I know, insensitive). We now believe that someone that has worked as a cashier at McDonalds for ten years while having four kids on her own deserves a 100% pay raise, health insurance, a home, a free cell phone, free food and our sympathy. Nobody is ever to blame for their own plight and misfortunes. Its always someone elses fault. We no longer learn from our mistakes because our mistakes are no longer of our doing. Eventually the economic equality you all seek will be that of equal misery and poverty. Progressivism (aka communism and socialism) doesnt work. But hey, lets try it again. Smh.
