We can’t even imagine what this mommy cat has been through. A - TopicsExpress

We can’t even imagine what this mommy cat has been through. A bust was made yesterday on a meth house in Tipton County and meth was actually being cooked at the time the officers entered the home. There were several cats there, including this mom and her newborns, so animal control was called. So, this mom has gone from trying to care for newborn kittens in a meth house to now caring for them in a loud animal shelter with all kinds of airborne contaminants that could easily cause newborn kittens to become sick very quickly. A Paws & Claws volunteer was at the shelter yesterday soon after they were brought in and said that the mom was cowering at the back of the cage too terrified to move, and the kittens were up front behind the food bowls. She resituated them and put the kittens close to mom to nurse, but this family MUST get a second chance at happy lives. We have an experienced foster mom who wants to save this family and will find them great homes once they are ready, but she needs financial help to do so. Your donations will allow her to have a fund for this family to buy supplies and pay for the medical care that they will need (testing, fecal, vaccines, worming, spay/neuter). PLEASE, help this cat who has had nothing but bad luck in her life finally catch a break!! pledgie/campaigns/21333
