We come to love not by finding a perfect person but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly. Way too many people dont understand this in the least any more. Everyone seems to think now that if its actually love then its supposed to be all rainbows, butterflies, and happy times. News flash! Love is hard. Its rough. It isnt a walk in the park, it doesnt just jump on us and make life perfect. When you love someone youre able to cope with their past, accept them for who they are today, if there isnt a fight every once in a while then youre doing it wrong. Everyone disagrees but the people who truly love each other either learn to come to a compromise or just agree to disagree. No two people are going to completely see eye to eye on everything. Loving someone means that you see everything about them, their good side, their bad side, their differences, accomplishments, failures, faults, triumphs, and any nitches and you put all that together and accept that theyre their own person, but thats okay with you because you wouldnt have it any other way. Because what kind of fun would a relationship be where you never argued and you were always on the same page. I want to be able to fight with someone about stuff. But have that type of true love where we always come out at the end of the day in each others arms laughing about it. My book for today haha
