We conducted a plant rescue at a site slated for stream restoration and flood control work with the help of Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists. It has the largest Purple Passionflower patch I have ever seen growing right out of the rip-rap. We plan on returning some to the site once construction is over and also propagate more for other sites. Here you can see some of the vines we salvaged. I wont bore you with a yet another photo of a bagful of fruits that I will have to eat, clean and save the seeds from in my own way... :)
