We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family in NY... Moments full of love and laughter, lots of Amazing food and the giggles of our children filled the spaces of our hearts along with thoughts of Jake... We all couldnt feel more blessed! Its hard to find the words to express the love and gratitude I feel. Seeing Max with his baby cousin and watching her teach him to crawl while spending this time with family, we dont get to see often enough, and just driving past NY city where so many memories we shared with Dadda Jake was so wonderful yet heart wrenching in the same breath... My heart runith over! Our sweet Max woke up the next morning with a cough that sounded as if a baby seal were in our bed! He tossed and turned all night, so by morning light, we had uncle Tony take a listen to his lungs (so thankful we have a doctor in the family). I called his on call oncologist at Vanderbilt Childrens and he called in a Zpack (5 day antibiotic to protect against pneumonia, etc). Uncle Tony was able to get us a flight out one day early so we could be close to his doctors in case of any complications with what ever he is fighting? We are so thankful for such an amazing and loving family! Nana picked us up from the airport last night (Friday) and Max is doing ok. . Being tough and Brave as usual! Last night he started vomiting which continued today. He needed a lot of Mommy hold me time but at times seemed totally fine? He amazes me so much! He finally just went down for sleep. Just praying he will clear up by Monday for his MRI! He is down for a full scan of brain and spine which should take around 4 to 6 hours. . He is a pro. . So should take 4 hours. . ;) Please pray with us that he is clear enough to still undergo this scan. He is so sweet as usual and just wants Lovin. . Caressing mommas face one minute and squeezing my neck with his finger nails the next. .lol thats our sweet boy! Daddas boy, Mommas baby and Sissys bubba.. ;) We love you all and hope yall had a wonderful and joyous Thanksgiving as well! So much to be grateful for, ♡~ Maxs Mom
