This September marks the 200 year bicentennial of the writing of the Star Spangled Banner by Francis Scott Key as he watched the American flag rise over Ft. McHenry on the morning of September 14, 1814 after more than 24 hours of bombardment by the British. Wouldnt it be great if we could make that the #1 song in country for that historic occasion? Here’s how to help make it happen: CALL your local radio stations: rock stations, country stations, talk radio stations – and let them know about the upcoming bicentennial. Then REQUEST they play our rock rendition, not just on that day, but EVERY day. Let them know that you the listener WANT to hear it in their rotation. Let’s get patriotism back on the air.
