We have great news to share! The sighting of Lily from last week is absolutely confirmed! Thanks to the very observant and caring Donna who saw this valiant little girl at around 11:30 AM sunning herself in a shallow ravine, for calling and reporting what she observed. This was in the general area of Peace Valley Park in Bucks County, PA. When the weather turns cool, lost dogs will come out in daylight to warm themselves. This might enable us to have more sightings which are key to bringing Lily home. Do keep looking for Lily after dark as well. Donna said that she wasnt sure if she was looking at a dog or a sheep. Look carefully at the photos here so you can recognize our girl. Lily is very comfortable with farm animals and may be helping herself to their food. Please be aware of this possibility and call immediately if you see sweet Lily. Please look for this precious Aussie girl in her preferred habitat of fields and woods. Please help us. Lily is 16 inches at the shoulder and 35 pounds. This beloved dog has blue eyes and a short tail. We must have more information if we are to get her home. Please call or text 215 514 0404 or 215 620 2700 anytime. Also go to Bring Lily Home in Bucks County on FaceBook to learn about the best way to catch a lost dog and why such a dog should not be chased. We must get this 16 year old angel back into the safety and comfort of her home. Whenever anyone has approached her she has taken off into the woods. We dont want her to keep running. Experts know that an elusive, scared dog like Lily is most likely to be caught by trapping, not by chasing. Her blue merle (gray and white) coat is probably matted and dirty at this time, so she may not look as clean and fluffy as her pictures. She is hopelessly lost and has no idea of how to get home. We have to find her. So, please look for this dear, gentle Aussie and dont approach or chase her. That will certainly set back our efforts to rescue her. Hunters, please check your wildlife cameras for images of Lily. Please share this message and then share again on FaceBook. REWARD
