A little background about The Barn Project at Autumn Run Stables, LLC... Autumn Run Stables, LLC is far more than a stable with a barn. It’s a place where teens & families in “tough spots” find hope, strength, and an opportunity to rebuild life foundations. Situated upon the Autumn Run Stables LLC property in West Glenville, NY is a big, beautiful barn, symbolic of the strength and shelter so many teens, families, and horses have found at Autumn Run Stables. Sadly, during the recent harsh winter, storms and ice pushed through the Barn’s fieldstone foundation causing serious damage, and now it’s fighting to stay standing. Temporary supports have been put in place, but major work is needed to restore the foundation. Nanette Foster and her team know that the Barn is meant to continue to weather the storm, and out of these unfortunate circumstances, they have chosen to move forward with faith, hope, and love, and embrace this as an opportunity to rebuild the Barn to accommodate its own “made for more” purpose. Hence, “The Barn Project” has been born. We believe Love Never Fails. So just like we do with the kids, families & horses in our Equine Assisted Counseling program and specialty foster care home for teen girls, we choose to move out in faith, hope and love to repair the broken foundation the storms of life have given us - stone-by-stone- to be stronger and more stable for a bright future. On the upper level of the barn, we will have counseling space and an open timber gathering space for classes, group counseling, and skill development classes helping kids & familes become all they are meant to be and breaking the cycle of hurt and poverty that is their generational heritage. The lower level will become horse stalls. This expansion of stalls will enable us to take in more horses finding themselves jobless due to age, injury, or life circumstance At this barn, they will find new purpose as they discover their God-given gifts to help kids and families heal through Equine Assisted Counseling. So out of our crumbling foundation, we will build a wall of faith securing our barn for its amazing future purpose. Please join us by contributing to our cause and dedicating a foundational faith stone for our wall of faith that will wrap around the farms driveway out to the road border for all to see! When kids & families come to the farm and ask about this amazing colorful wall of stones, we will share how people stood together in faith and helped us save our barn so that it could be here for them. Now thats a story worth telling!
