We hope you were able to enjoy the cooler temperatures and low humidity today, as that will change this weekend. The temperatures will be on the rise and more notably the humidity will increase. While a pop up thunderstorm cannot be ruled out Saturday afternoon and evening, a better chance of thunderstorms will be Sunday into Monday. It is the second half of the weekend when some thunderstorms could be strong to locally severe. The greatest severe weather risk as of now for Sunday is damaging winds. As always with thunderstorms, dangerous cloud to ground lightning occurs. Check back as we continue to fine tune the forecast and the severe weather risk for Sunday into Monday.
