We just got back to Managua! San Jose de la Mula was the most beautiful place I have ever been to. We were deep in the jungle of Nicaragua, hiked miles after miles to construct all of the water filters in the community. I was privileged enough to get to stay with a family in San Jose de la Mula. My host family was incredible. They were all so hardworking and such beautiful people. We did some laborious construction work on the health clinic as well. I had so much fun playing baseball with the community members. I have never felt so much at home. After a 10 hour car ride back to AMOS and a few pit stops for me to puke, were safe and sound in Managua.
