We just got the pet scan results...We got good news and we got bad news....the good news is that where they did the radiation on the neck has shrunk significantly! It is still there but the radiation is doing what it needs to do..also the scan didnt show any cancer in his legs or hips or arms....the bad news is that the cancer has gotten worse in his spine. The cancer has caused his spine to become very weak and it has caused a compacted fracture...and also the bottom half of his lungs are lighting up but they arent sure if that is the infection or cancer....but with the results about his neck really gives us hope that if we do radiation on his back maybe it will shrink it as well...but we dont know what the plan is now. We have to wait to see his chemo Dr to find out what is next and what the plan is...i believe the fight that my husband has put up and the continuous prayers is what is showing this cancer who is boss!!! So please continue to pray and hope that we can stop the cancer from getting worse in his back and shrink it like it did in his neck!
