We lost a great man today... I lost a grandfather but even more so, I lost one of my biggest heroes... I miss you so much, Paw Paw. I hope you know how much I loved you in your living years, even though we never spoke after I left you six years ago. I regret not saying the words to you I should have when I was given the opportunity. I guess I never knew what to say or ask, you were so stoic and kept to yourself so much. But, through all you went through in your life, you were a strong man... a Bolding man - steadfast, brave, loving, caring, and you loved me more than words or emotions will ever be able to express. You shared so much with me, from how far out peanuts and apples would taste together to how to make fishing lures, how to properly mow the lawn to how to worship God, Ill take everything I learned from you and try to be a better man as I carry myself along the rest of my own personal life journey. I am beyond gutted right now. Never thought itd hit me this hard. You fought hard, hoss. I still cant get over how right you were about computers being the future and how they would be the best career field to get into. Silly me, not believing my own Paw Paw. This song is for you, young man, wherever you are now. Take care of Nanny, Bizzy, Aunt Carolyn, Uncle Buster and Uncle John for me, please. I cant wait to see you again some day. This isnt goodbye... This is until we meet again.
