We try to stay away from the negatives in the special needs community but we think sometimes we need to provide this information for those in our community who have been inquiring. We would like add that we have no connections to Kelli, but were followers of her blog and struggles with her daughter Izzy who has autism and violent tendencies. Nothing truly rivals the violence of her own mother, who in an utter act of hopelessness and desperation unsuccessfully attempted murder-suicide and is now serving time for her crime. There are so many many failures in this story...they system, the schools, the therapists, the family, the friends, the physicians, and so many that COULD be blamed, so we simply share...not for the sake of debating, but simply to share.
