Wed. Sept. 17, 1997 Today was our last day in Italy. I had a lot of fun, and I feel like I went through some personal changes. I feel more confident of myself now. Im also finding myself more open to new ideas. Im proud of myself. Tonight Taylor is staying here at my Sursee host-family. For some reason, everyone I room with thinks that they should sleep on the floor instead of sharing a bed with me. I hope they dont think Im dirty or something. Taylor didnt sleep on the floor tonight, but he did suggest it. Well...tomorrow is a long travel day to Belgium. Thurs. Sept. 18, 1997 Wow....five countries in 24 hours!!! We left Italy yesterday, left Switzerland this morning, and drove through France, Luxembourg, and into Belgium. My busdate today waAudra Meyer-Cardwell and we watched Braveheart and snuggled. Its always good to have a busdate that snuggles. It makes it easier to sleep and makes the trip go faster. Now Im in Alsemburg witKirke Bray as a roomie, and our host-mom has e-mail! Yes! Our house also has a sauna, a tanning booth and more. Our host-mom is very into natural medicine. Im gonna like it here for sure.
