Wednesday Update: Today was not such an exciting day like the last few have been. He was alert in the am and pretty much from 12 oclock on he was out of it, almost sedated like but with no sedation. Physical therapy came by but he had no idea that 2 cute nurses were working him over. His stats are continuing to stay steady along with his breathing and day 2 of no fever. We are awaiting the results of the spinal fluid to give us an indication of how the infection is doing. Dave always said, you cannot have good days without bad days and I am guessing this was one of those days. Drs are in and out of the room checking on him constantly, so I know he is in good hands. It is going to be a long, uphill climb. Thank you Lulu for helping to make the day go by a little faster. Next time for sure he will be gabbing with you. Continued prayers please....until tomorrow.
