Week three of Ed Coans deadlift program is going well. I am using an estimated 1RM of 530lbs by the end of the 10 week program. For more info on the Coan DL program, go to: seriouspowerlifting/3279/articles/ed-coan-deadlift-routine Barbell Deadlift 455x2 (85% of 1RM goal), 370x6x3 (speed work with 70% for 1RM goal) Stiff Legged Deadlift 3x6x370lbs Barbell Bent Over Row 3x8x185lbs One-arm Lat Pulldown 3x8 each side (160lbs) Good Morning 3x8x185lbs (havent done these in ages so starting conservative and will ramp up over the course of the program) Finished with Double Kettlebell Swings 2x25x70lb bells Practice sets during the day Three sets of four with double 84lb bells. Groove is coming back nicely and the bells are feeling light
