Weekends the locals from Guadalajara are here. From the balcony I see la familias, 3 generations or more, newborn put on Grandmas lap, parents gathering w/food & drink, kids splashing happily away, Sunday late aft the parents scold in Spanish (Im guessing, my Espanol is not perfect, but, I recognize the expressions) Come out of the water, we must go home! The kids whine & beg & plead. A reprieve is granted. Kids squeal w/delight & run back into the water. They won. Parents smile, pack up their belongings. You know that I witness this scene every weekend at VVR (will start again in a month or so). We both know that we can witness this scene any place in the world. We are not so different from each other. In any country. Something to remember always.
