Well... 1.30am and just home. Nothing like a midnight drive to town to bring your daughter to the out of hours doctor service. Shes had a sore throat the past two days and over the counter remedies werent helping. Flared up badly late tonight so off we went. Saw a nice young indian doctor, strep throat. The nurse kindly gave us a supply of antibiotics, nurofen and disprin to gargle till the chemist opens in the morning and we can fill the prescription. Also made her a honey in hot water drink, hopefully she can get some sleep. Apart from the antibiotics theres a throat spray on the script which should help the runny nose. Never a dull moment eh?
