Well I have been in Halifax since Monday night, Tuesday I went into surgery to have a stint put in place from bladder upto kidney, thru the damaged ureter letting the ureter its self rest and hoping that its able to heal outside the tube. Then yesterday (Wednesday) with a ultrasound they pin pointed the main pocket of fluid that several pockets coming off it and put a drain where they thought was the best drainage advantage (also has a PICC line put in so no more needles for meds, blood work, ivs etc it can all be done thru the PICC line now (which my hands n arms are extremely happy for!! Lol) so now that I am stable and starting to eat I believe later today I will be shipped back to PCH to finish my recovery (a few day to another week in hospital) then the long road begins I see dr back over here in 6-8weeks to check on ureter, remove tube shoot dye thru see if its healed or still leaking, if it is tube will be replaced (or temporary drain out kidney thru back) another check up -n 4-6 weeks if dye test still shows a leak I will have to go back in for full surgery thru new small incision to re cut n cotorize the ureter and start over hopefully with more success :) so either way its a long rd but still good prognosis for the long run... looking forward to getting back home and always up for visitors if u happen to pass thru summerside :) ps thank you all once again for ur prayer and comments it has meant so much and gives me something to look forward to, being able to read them thru ought the day!!
