Well, I was going to sweep out the uhaul before returning it. I unlatched it and unhooked the hook to send that roller door up. I, instead, hooked my wedding ring and found myself dangling from the hook off the ground. I heard and felt a loud POP. I didnt know what to do. I wiggled myself enough the door came down so I could put my feet on the bumper, feeling another hard pop. I unhooked myself and the pain made me immediately dizzy. I drove myself to the ER with a dark purple ice ice cold finger. They told me at the ER I better try hard to get the ring off or theyll have to cut it ..which was not going to be an option. They lubed me up and I shouted and cried out very colorful words. Off came the rings and the swelling started where the rings were. So I dislocated my finger on the way up and relocated it on the way down. The tendons are currently in tact but the swelling stopped the Dr from really being able to see. If in 72 hours I am still heavily swollen..orthopedic Dr!
