Well, Wednesday we got up and I drove Joel to Daddys office. Daddy got to take Joel to preschool that day. I continued on with Jase and Jeremy. I got them in to the CHP office and Jase was evaled for Physical Therapy and both boys had evals for Occupational Therapy. I did not receive the outcome of those evals at this time. But, they will be starting with their new therapies this coming week. The very next day I took Jase to Intermediate Unit(IU) to once again be evaled. This time it is for school. Here in PA children with special needs can be seen in the home for therapies until they turn 3, which Joel did and Jeremy is now doing. When Jase came home to the US he was already too old for this program. So the next phase is IU, for 3-5 year old kids with needs. I dont believe Jase minded this evaluation process at all. For almost 2 hours he had the undivided attention of 5 adoring women. Again his physical, mental, fine motor skills were evaluated. When all was said and done, we received the outcome that Jase was on the level of a 10 month old with his gross and fine motor skills. This was not a surprise to us, as he is very delayed. Now we have to weigh our options as to what we do now. He could have homebound therapies, or go to the same school as Joel. There is a third option that I just found out about yesterday that has me very interested. I will share once we learn more about it and educate ourselves. But, I am so excited to find things out there that will help my little guys grow and blossom. By the way, Joel is doing great in school. Just in the week and a half that he has gone, I see such an interest in him to communicate. He is repeating little sayings. When I can catch one on video I will absolutely share...it is soooooo cute! Have a great weekend!!!!!
