Well after 35 years in one business location you accumulate a bit of stuff so when it is time to move all those valuable and attractive items need to be sold, moved, stored or dumped. We are talking serious hoarding here - not just a couple of rooms but a quarter of an acre with some of it three stories up. Not really junk but loved and treasured possessions. You can tell I am an addicted hoarder :-) and I am married to a chucker who just cannot wait for that enormous 30 cubic metre waste bin to be delivered so she can supervise and personally fill it with all that junk What to do ? I consulted the other two addicted hoarders in the same street and we agreed that by joining forces we might be able to help one another. It takes one hoarder to appreciate the pain involved at even thinking about releasing those treasures. So we are going to try to downsize our hoards. Chuck what has no value, put up the rest for sale on ebay and gumtree so that other hoarders have a chance to possess our bounty and if no nibbles in 90 days then dump it. BUT all this takes time and I only have a couple of weeks before I and my treasures must be away. I reckon I am number 2 hoarder so number 3 hoarder who happens to be closer has very generously offered me some of his valuable space so I can move my treasures there. Just one tiny problem - number 2 hoarder has his treasures where I want to put mine so I have to help him move and store his treasures so there will be space for mine. In desperation we have approached number one hoarder and even though he is a SERIOUS hoarder he has generously offered to store four pallets of treasure as he is attracted to the chance to play with a couple of pieces of the treasure he will store (but only for 90 days I promise). So we have a two and a half ton all terrain forktruck, hundreds of cartons and a huge pile of pallets and are busy trying to fit a quart into a pint pot :-) So keep your eye out on ebay and gumtree as there are some absolute never to be repeated opportunities to acquire treasure at bargain basement prices.
