Well, hopefully the third time will pay for all. Ive accepted an offer on my house in California. The good news is that its a pretty good offer, about the best I could expect under the various circumstances of market and such. The buyers *and* their agent appear highly motivated to make this happen, and theyre buying it to live in, unlike the previous two offers. The downside, if there is one, is that after all the work thats gone into the place to make it more appealing...I dont get much out of it, after all the bills are paid. Granted, it still beats the living poo out of where I was a year ago, when I was thinking I might have to mail the keys to the bank and walk away. But given what I put into the place, back in 2005...ah well. That ship has sailed, and I made my peace with losing that equity some time back. Gods willing, this should close about the time I head down to Key West for MOTM. Keep those fingers and toes crossed, dear friends! :)
