Well, its official, I have won the Peoples Choice for the Glencore Percival Portrait competition. Must thank Telstra for the $2000 prize money which as promised will be donated to an organisation doing great things with helping PTSD sufferers re-integrate. Must thank all the staff of the Perc Tucker Regional Gallery, Townsville for all their hard work and dedication in ensuring the Competition ran as smoothy as it did. Also thanks to all my friends and family for their ongoing support, but most of all I need to thank my mate Bill Red for allowing me to paint him and tell his story, cheers mate.
