Well our landlord has turned out to be a slum lord. The window in our living room keeps falling completely out because the pieces that latch it into the frame are broken. It almost crashed onto Kiaras head when she crawled in front of it. Our roof leaks so our dining room is soaked every time it rains. An electrical unit in the dining room isnt hooked up right so the babies can easily pull it out of the wall. The connecting piece to the sink faucet is also broken so it falls off every time we turn the sink on. We still never received door knobs for our doors even though they were supposed to be brought the day after we moved in. And the water heater has been tagged by the utility company because it is caving through the floor. We have tried, to no avail, to at least get the roof, electrical panel, and window fixed because they are the safety hazards. We pay our rent on time and try to address our concerns, however, these people are unprofessional and completely impossible to communicate with... Sometimes not even returning our calls or messages until the day rent is due. The landlord finally came right out and said yesterday that if we are so unhappy with the issues we could easily just move out. I guess that means he isnt prepared to maintain his properties. Needless to say we need to move :( again! We almost should have stayed in the tiny little box apartment we came from. We looked at a place today. Thoroughly checked everything out this time, and were very pleased with the place. Its almost perfect. And the owner said we didnt have to have an application... We give him money he gives us the home. *sighs* now lets pray it will still be available in 2 weeks when we get paid.
