Well, our two idiot senators from the northern part of the state of New Mexico are trying to make half of Dona Ana County a wilderness area. It is 500,000 acres and much of it is along the border with Mexico,. Friday they held a meeting so people could voice their opinion, however they brought in several busloads of people from Albuquerque and Santa Fe so that local people could not get in the meeting. They brought in Obamas sec of Interior Sally Jewell , and now they say if they cannot get it through congress they will just ask Obama to declare it all a wilderness area. There are many ranches in these areas, and the border patrol and sheriffs are against this action. Welcome to more illegals !!!! In the bill it even states what kind of grain the sheriff can feed their horses, (which will be the only way they can patrol) and that they will have to clean up after their horses. Our only sane representative, Steve Pearce has introduced legislation to protect the Organ mountains, about 50,000 acres. Congress will pass it, but Harry Reid will not allow a vote. This is pure insanity. and while I am at it, the Santa Fe Elite has filed suit to keep a horse slaughter plant from operation in Roswell. Now the wild horses are starving to death and people who cannot afford to keep their horses just turn them loose !!!
