Well, since Im totally being productive working on my book right now, and not finding myself very distracted with various thoughts... Im going to answer this little thinger sent to me by Jim (aka WesternShore) on Tumblr Five Facts about Maplemusketeer aka Jordan Oram 1. I have zero tattoos, but one birthmark mid left forearm. And rather a number of freckles. 2. Ive owned fewer vehicles for less time than the vast majority of my friends, BUT have been paid to drive vehicles for various jobs more than the vast majority of my friends. 3. On a first date, in Victoria BC, I met a girl, who lived in an old dilapidated house (in the James Bay region), at her front door and when walking with her back to the street my foot broke through the rotten porch my left leg disappeared to the upper thigh in the hole. We went on to have a very fun date. Im not sure if falling through porches is a good dating technique but so far 100% of the times Ive fallen through a porch at the start of a date, it has resulted in a good date. 4. Life teaches a hell of a lot, and its unfortunate that we (I) tend to see more of the negative/challenges from the past and give them sway over my thoughts, as opposed to remembering the many awesome accomplishments and adventures that have occurred so far. Its a tendency Im frequently remembering and working on switching up. Our current circumstances do not reflect our actual capabilities. After working for two years for a travelling university program, which involved my being in charge of 30+ first year students going overseas to foreign countries, my follow up job was as a janitor at a low-income seniors housing project. How quickly we forget how much we can do if we dare. Insert some inspirational thought/comment about being made of stars, life being a headlong rush into finality/immortality/legacy, or a poop joke. 5. Whenever I ponder the what super power would you want variety of question I invariably end up with some version of super wisdom/knowing/understanding. Id trade one of my eyes for wisdom (like Odin did) but only if I also get two ravens and two wolves. And then maybe Id travel around living and learning more about the world and people. Wait.... I maybe kind of do that. But without the wisdom, ravens, or wolves, and still having two eyes. Yeah actually.. maybe Ill just keep doing what Im doing for a bit longer. Thanks for the questions Jim!
