Well the United States will lose authority of the internet domain. To some of you it wont matter. Maybe if more people were educated on some fundamental IT matters it would make a difference. Yes I dont like being spied on but there will be new question who then would you rather be spying. So instead on one evil,the option a foreign country. In the articles around the matter it only refers to the civilian organizations and has nothing to do with the NSA. These organizations oversaw how the internet domains functioned for us. The American people havent just lost their privacy since 2013 , snooping on citizens has been around for a while. It grew after 9/11 , new systems that never existed before were implemented. Does abuses occur , we know they did and they will continue. Those in the military have never had any, it comes with the job. Snowdens disclosures early on confirmed that conspiracy theorist werent crazies, but the NSA does numerous cyber functions. Disclosing greater detail on other operations not geared at the American people borders on counter productive. Not all the NSA operations are centered on United States citizens. Streamline but not shut down the whole operation.
