Well today I went to vote to perform my civic duties, so I decided since I dont look like the others to test Texas Voting ID laws, I show up to the Precinct 317 voting place located at First Church of the Nazarene, 5000 South 31st St., Temple TX 76502. Show my United States Government issued Veterans Identification Card. This card have my name and my picture. But unfortunately for me, since Im Hispanic and I have that illegal alien look, (what can I do about that?0. The lady check the ID card and pass it to another lady who determined that it was not good enough, even that it said that the card is Property of the U.S. Government. I immediately change my voice with a real thick accent and told her I guess you think Im Pedro the Landscaping Boy as I may look like a Taco to you with that said I proceed it to show my driver license and of course now Pedro the Landscaping Boy was allowed to vote. So if you are a disabled veteran of the United States of America you may fight for your country, you may be some, but in the State of Texas you will be treated like a total idiot and you will not be allowed to vote. Especially if you look like a Taco Boy (yes that is me).
