Well, we have found a new, loving home for Kissy. It is bittersweet, but at the same time Im glad we found the perfect place for her... & I can visit occasionally! She has been in my life for 7 years... Ive taken care of her since she was a little runt kitten that came into the pet store while I was a pet care tech. She was skin & bones... she had to be kept in the back kennels until she fattened up and got healthy again! I always had her in the pocket of my scrubs & gave her lots of attention. We became the best of friends! She will always be my fur baby. I cant help but feel Im abandoning her. But I have to reassure myself that this is the right decision. The lady she is going to is home indefinitely due to partial blindness... she is very nice, and she has a few other special needs kitties! She is just outside city limits & is located right where the country/farms are... so the kitties can roam around outside if they want to. If anyone would like to come wish her well on her new journey this week, let me know... shell be arriving to her new home this weekend.
