Went to work in the plot I share with Richard Stevens at the community garden yesterday. Had my seeds, tools, gloves, everything I needed, except that I was missing the days when my two little guys would help make a garden. Just then, a new family came along with a baby and a 4-year old boy, Henry. We chatted and then went about our business. After awhile, Henry came over and very seriously presented me with two earthworms for my garden. Best gift Ive had in awhile. We planted magic beans together and discussed whether the bean stalk would lead to good giants or bad (We decided on good.). I cant wait to see how they -- and Henry -- grow this summer!
