Were delighted to announce that Diehl Gallery will represent UK painter Jeremy Houghton. At the start of 2014 - WW1 Centenary year - British Army Polo commissioned Houghton to paint a collection of 25 paintings to celebrate 100 years of army polo, and the vital role this ancient team sport has played in times of both peace and war with the training of British soldiers. In 2011, Jeremy Houghton was asked by HRH The Prince of Wales to produce a series of paintings of Highgrove, his Cotswold estate for the past thirty years. The Olympics in 2012 (where Jeremy was an official BT Olympic artist) made progress slow, however, by May 2013 a series of thirty paintings were presented to Prince Charles. We will debut Jeremy Houghtons work at the Fete at Diehl Gallery on July 3, 2014.
