Weve had lots of people asking about Braylons diagnosis. Its really a lengthy list and history. He was born with Dandy Walker/Cerebral Palsy. More recently he was diagnosed with Failure to Thrive this past summer. After spending over three months total hospitalized for that, we found out he has CMV colitis amongst several other problems, including compromised immune system. The doctors did not want to treat originally because treatment options for CMV have bad side effects. However, after another scope right before Christmas, they decided treatment was the only way to get rid of this virus and hopefully get him back on the right track. We have been treated 15 out of the total 21 days so far. Tomorrow they will rescope him and decide what to do moving forward. We are praying the treatment has been working!!!
