We’re bringing gang violence out into the open for a candid conversation tonight featuring young people and former gang members at Matthews Memorial Baptist Church (MLK & Sumner Rd. SE) from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Our Commission on Black Men and Boys first decided on a public conversation this summer following gang violence at the National Zoo and near Ballou High School. Without an open discussion, gang violence goes underground, only to surface again. Come and join the discussion.
