What Color Wednesday Answer! DS Monte Amiata Natural Sienna: bit.ly/1sWkx9f Our DANIEL SMITH Monte Amiata Natural Sienna has a wonderful natural glow with subtle granulation. This earth toned color has a lovely transparency making it wonderful for portraits and landscapes. A BIG thank you to the Artists who left guesses for this weeks “What Color Wednesday”, unfortunately I posted this several hours later than normal so we did not get as many guesses as usual. As Sheila Horrocks said it was a “Very difficult one” [color to guess] and no one guessed Monte Amiata Natural Sienna, though Marilyn New and Eamon Keenan were VERY close with Transparent Yellow Oxide (or Yellow Iron Oxide) good guesses Marilyn and Eamon! Thank you artists for leaving your guesses, your colors gave me colors to paint out, plus I added an extra two so we can see more comparisons!
