What I love most about acting are the lessons I learn about life through the characters I portray. Every character Ive ever played stays with me in some way, they become a part of me, forever. Ive spent the last 3 months living in the world of a character with an entirely different set of morals, fears and desires than my own. It breaks my heart that audiences may never see it, but the lessons Ive learned by looking at life through the eyes of another man stay with me until the very end. Our production was shut down due to the theft of irreplaceable footage from our film on our very last day of shooting. As a performance artist, the goal is to always share those lessons with your audience. Essentially, it was the audience that was robbed of the opportunity to experience a beautiful story. But what I have learned as an actor, and a human being, that can never be taken from me. Ive grown. Ive changed. And as an artist, thats really all I can ever ask for from my art. Not fame and fortune, but evolution. That is why I do what I do, and I come off of this project with a sense of pride, fulfillment and a hopeful anticipation of my future endeavors.
