What a beatiful,suitable and beffitting metaphor!As garments hide, so do wives and husbands hide each others nakadness,their weakness,both physical and moral,and those places that they are ashamed of displaying to others. As clothes give comfort,protection,and grace to the body,so do wives and husbands find comfort and grace in each others company.This garment is the grace,the beaty,the embellishment. And(it is one)of his signs that He (allah) has created spouses for you from own species that you may find comfort in them. And He has induced mutual love and tenderness between you. Quaran-(30:21). Therefore,love and klndness should be the rule and not,the enforcement of authority by man,nor subservience on the part of the woman. This is the idea of wifehood in ISLAM,and we have not found else where a higher idea of mutual love,affection and equality. Enjoy
