What a miserable, disheartening day. I hate businesses and a lack of efficient management in ALL businesses in todays world. Customer service rates last everywhere. Actually, running an efficient business with a healthy, profit and room to grow has gone out the window. No one takes a stand against any of it. When did it become acceptable to stand in line to buy a half dozen items for 20 minutes? Why do people who cant efficiently do their job get to stay in that position while someone carries them? Im not even saying to fire a person, but rearrange your staff to maximize productivity. There is a lack of respect for people who work their asses off and the products that they sell. Professionalism is a foreign word. There is too much effort put into creating changes to make it appear that something is happening when in reality not a damn thing got done or benefited the net profit. Yep, businessman and politicians are one in the same anymore. I get so frustrated at work and in every other retail store. So many people paid good money to do very little incorrectly or create bullshit ideas while the people with profitable ideas or who are productive get paid peanuts and no one will listen to their ideas. In the last few months, Ive become increasingly frustrated with myself. Im working a dead-end job and not doing something with all the potential I still possess. Its not a matter of what a person is capable of doing, its all about being in the right place at the right time to snag a job that someone else could do better. I am beginning to realize more and more of my own strengths. I wish I could turn back time. My biggest mistake was messing up my college education. I want so much to go back to school. Im dieing to climb my way out of the rut I dug myself into, but Im not sure where to begin. Where theres a will, theres a way. Sorry for the rambling vent and all over the place thoughts, but this is exactly how my mind has been lately...all over the place at intense rates of speed, hence, my insomnia.
