What about hunger pangs? Initially, hunger pangs are the uncomfortable feeling of emptiness in the stomach and intestinal tract as it goes into hibernation mode. Juicing will not totally satisfy this feeling until the stomach is in complete hibernation. This does not go into effect until at least the 5th or 6th day of a fast. So that is something you will have get use to. Juicing does not initiate digestion unless fiber is present. But it still will be assimilated. It is a direct nutrient. The more you become in tune with the juice, the more you will recognize its satisfying effect on your hunger. Even when eating, you are not satified at the level of the fiber you eat, but at the level of the juice in the fiber, provided, that fiber has the nutrients within it to satisfy the cells. Remember the raw juice is living, so you must mentally connect with it as it becomes a part of you.
