What is true Christmas spirit? Well, we found it in shelter worker Dylan Di Meglios special Christmas day plans for his favorite shelter dog Adopt Sasha. Listen to what he has in store for his favorite adoptable dog tomorrow. Sashas Christmas Day Itinerary: 9:00 am VIP ACCESS into Petco! Ive always wanted to take Sasha to a pet store but am not able to because of her dog reactivity... I got permission to go into the CLOSED store while the staff cleans so Sasha can get to experience what a pet store feels like! 10:30 am Van Horne Park - Sasha had so much fun at the park on her birthday Ive decided to take her back on Christmas! 11:30 am Go Home to OPEN OUR GIFTS! Sasha will get to see all of the AWESOME gifts I got her! (My parents are so awesome that theyre granting my Christmas wish to take Sasha home (ONLY FOR CHRISTMAS DAY) so that Sasha can at least be in a home with plenty of love for Christmas! Its a true Christmas miracle!)12:30 pm Agility Demonstration - I want to show my family all of Sashas talents! 1:00 pm Be a dog in a home - I want Sasha to have time to experience the lifestyle of being in a home. I will let her run around in our huge fenced in yard, hang out in the house, and shell meet some of our farm animals! 3:00 pm Nature Hike - I will take Sasha into our backyard for a nice walk in our wooded trails. 4:00 pm Scenic Drive - Take a long convoluted way back to the shelter. Sasha loves going for rides in the car... And I wont want to bring her back! 4:30 Back at the Shelter for Dinner - Sasha arrives safety back at the shelter for her supper. Dylans love and dedication even on his day off (and a holiday no less!) made us teary-eyed and we wanted to wish him and ALL SHELTER WORKERS a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
