What the narrator has to say in this clip is pretty basically what - TopicsExpress

What the narrator has to say in this clip is pretty basically what I have been saying since Day 1. The point is that as long as there is an active investigation open on this matter, we as a whole need to stay calm and wait until ALL of the facts are in before declaring this officers actions as justifiable or unjustifiable. As to the accuracy of the comments being made by the interviewees themselves in this clip, I can neither testify to the truthfulness of those being interviewed nor is it my concern in posting the clip. The point I am making is that there is a LOT of conflicting testimony out there regarding the matter. If you are going to accept unverified testimony as Gospel before the facts are all in, do yourself and everyone else a huge favor and listen to BOTH sides of the saga. This is America, not some Third World country where they conduct kangaroo courts on a regular basis with preconceived outcomes. I know that the system is far from being perfect and that it frequently fails. I mean, after all, OJ was innocent, right? Where was all of the moral outrage when that judgement was handed down? We do need to get it right this time. We cant afford to have that happen again. There is more than likely enough forensic evidence available to be able to reconstruct to a large degree the flow of how things went down. In addition to that, there is probably also video camera surveillance footage available as well as any cell phone video camera footage anyone may have taken, should they care to come forward with it. I genuinely like my Facebook friends, and I recognize that not everyone is going to see things the same way I might. In those cases, I can respectfully agree to disagree without allowing it to harm our relationship, but I expect the same in return. With that having been said, and with most everyone that I know having been as vocal as they have been in their rush to crucify the police on this issue, I felt it was only fair to share this clip as well. Dont get me wrong. I get it. Im not exactly enamored with the police these days either. If the evidence shows the officers actions to be unjustifiable, then he needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. But should the evidence show otherwise, I would sincerely hope that you folks who have been running on strictly emotion and calling for his head on a silver platter without any of us having looked at ALL of the facts without any preconceived notions and without prejudice will have the balls to admit that you may have jumped the gun and erred in your judgement. To really do any other way will only expose those of you ON BOTH SIDES OF THIS ISSUE as the hypocrites that you would have to be should you choose to do otherwise.
