Whats happening in NE Indiana this week? Sadly, local fair organizers in Warsaw have chosen to hire exotic animal wranglers as a draw to increase attendance and entertain fairgoers. We are saddened by this, and asked to do something by many of our supporters. There is little we can do, but to raise our voices and educate one another about what we know and see. We know and see that animals being bred, bought, sold, and traded, and used for commercial gain often suffer. The numbers are staggering. We also know that more big cats are in need of refuge than can be accommodated by accredited zoos and true sanctuaries. And we know that public safety is put at risk every time large predators are transported and exhibited.
