Whats on my mind? My son Gabriel did a video for his friend Matt Crack who is one of MANY running for mayor of Toronto, and he has asked me to send it out to whoever I can. I sent it direct to my email contacts who I thought might be interested and apologize for any duplication. Matt has been Gabes best friend ever since they met 19 years ago in senior kindergarten at St. Peters School in the Bloor/Bathurst area of west-central Toronto. He is one of a bunch of people running for mayor. I thought there were 22 candidates in all. My wife Rita just told me there are 65! The big three are John Tory and Doug Ford and Olivia Chow, probably in that order. After those three, the media have more or less acknowledged a second division of promising newcomers, and Matt is generally included in that. This is a 2:42-minute video that Gabe put together for the campaign with the help of friends. I would like to point out that the moving highway-footage taken at the beginning were taken with the camera affixed to the dash of MY car. (No credit necessary, Gabriel. Just put in a little gas from time to time. :) ) Matt can be identified, Gabe says, as the first and last guy to ask a question. He appears several times in close-up, and I think of him as the one fixing the camera with a straight-on, means business gaze.
